Nanny Salaries and
Duties
Our nannies salaries range from $250.00 to
$500.00 per week. Part time nannies or caregivers rates
are from $10.00 to $12.00 per hour with minimum of 15
hours per week.

What are the nanny hours?
The hours are dependant on the specific need of the
family/employer. A typical schedule is Monday to Friday
typical week of 50 to 60 hours for a live-in, and between
30 to 40 hours per week for a live-out.
What is a Nanny's Salary?
A nanny's salary is dependent on the amount of
children and the nanny's responsibilities. The average
nanny salary range is $250.00 to $500.00 for live-in or
live-out. Nannies usually receive 1 week paid vacation
after a year plus 6 paid holidays.
What are the responsibilities of a
nanny?
The nanny will focus on your children. Typical daily
task include but are not limited to:
- Feeding
- Dressing
- Bathing
- Social Activities(i.e. birthday parties,
playgroups)

- Reading
- Assistance with homework
- Playing
- Assistance with chores

They may also be asked to
help the family perform light housekeeping and chores,
these may include:
- Laundry
- Shopping and errands
- Simple meal preparation
- Loading/emptying the dishwasher
- Tidying up at the end of the day
Each nanny's responsibilities are different and
should be negotiated with the family
